Google Analytics Scrollbar missing

There is a recent bug in Google Analytics causing the vertical scrollbar to disappear which makes impossible for some users to scroll down in any of the GA screens.

The problem is not related to the browser or operating system a some may think. I've checked it in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge as well as in Mac and Windows, all with the same result. So it's most likely an internal bug in Google Analytics.

Quick fix for the missing scrollbar in GA

While we wait for Google to fix this bug, here is a quick solution that will let you scroll down your reports:

  • Log in and go to the Home section in your Analytics (if you are not already there).
  • Once there don't click on any of the links at the top (Home, Reporting, Customization, Admin) instead¬†right-click on any of the views and select open in a new window.
  • On the new window, you will be able to see the scroll bar and from there you will be able to navigate to any section (Home,Reporting,Customization,Admin) or other reports and the scrollbar will be there.

The bad news is that you will have to do it every time you access GA, the good news is that it is just an extra click :) .
